We have loved the Lakes Region of New Hampshire for a life time! Hiking the trails of Mount Major, swimming, boating and paddleboarding in Lake Winnipesaukee, visiting covered bridges and waterfalls, historic hotels and homes, shopping in the region's quaint galleries and unique shops have filled our summer vacations. Snowshoeing, skiing, touring Bob House villages, watching ice airport landings, and winter hiking have filled our winter vacations.

 

We fell in love with Samoset Resort ten years ago when we were overwhelmed by its breathtaking view of the Broads and the Ossipee Mountains, carefully groomed grounds, premier resort amenities, and welcoming culture, but we waited for years for a waterfront property to come on the market. We bought our particular townhouse because it offered more than any of the others; it overlooked both the pool and the lake.

 

We have been very fortunate to have most of our guests return, so we do not always have open weeks. However, we do maintain a list of interested people and contact them for the following summer. If you have any questions or you would like to reserve a summer or fall week, please, let us know. In fact, if you would like to drive up to Gilford, we would enjoy giving you a tour of our townhouse and Samoset's facilities.
