When we first drove down into Samoset, we were stunned by the panoramic view! The deep, lush green of the manicured lawns and the sandy beach contrasted with the blue of "The Broads" of Winnipesaukee and the deep blue/black shadows of the Ossipee Mountains on the horizon.  It simply took our breath away!

 

 

However, Samoset Resort offers far more than a spectacular view; it provides all of the amenities of a premier resort: a carefully raked, sandy beach equipped with lounge chairs and diving raft, two lovely, large landscaped pools with two very different natural settings, a drop-off dock, two tennis courts, a clubhouse equipped with pool, table tennis, and other games, a fire pit for nightly bon fires, and gentle, pine-shaded walking trails.
